THE BRIEF
Our client wanted an unused bedroom in their home converted into a cinema room for cinema nights for themselves and also for when their grandchildren visited with seating but also space for children to enjoy.
DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION
A stud wall was created to allow for the recessing of the speakers ahead of the acoustic projection screen installation and a fibre optic star ceiling with LED strips installed by Special Ceilings before the final elements of the cinema could be finalised.
THE FINISHED SYSTEM
This completed home cinema has a Dolby Atmos 9.2.4 sound system and true 4k projection for an amazing picture and incredible cinema sound.
The client provided a custom cabinet to match the decor of the room in which was housed the AV receiver, sub amp, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and as the client wanted to watch Sky TV also in the cinema while still keeping the Sky box in the main lounge, we used a HDMI extended over CAT6 to achieve this.
To unify the system for ease of use, we implemented Crestron Home to provide smart control which allowed all devices, lights and blinds to be controlled from one remote control.
As with all See-AV cinemas, our experienced technicians calibrate each system to suit the space to get the best and most authentic movie experience.
