THE BRIEF
Within a modern and spacious home, we were given the task of designing and building a dedicated 12 seater cinema for our client and his loved ones to enjoy.
With a ‘blank canvas’ to start with, we were able to plan and design with few restrictions and present the client will some fantastic ideas and options.
DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION
Due to the modern feel of the home and cinema we were keen to make the installed components as discreet as possible so planning cable routes and processes is key.
Our designers and technicians made great use of the attic space and walls to implement the LED light strips, speakers and signal runs creating an ‘invisible’ installation.
THE FINISHED SYSTEM
The completed cinema room boasts a Dolby Atmos 9.2.4 configuration surround sound system. A Sony VWVPL570ES true 4k image projector and acoustically transparent 5 metre wide projection screen provides stunning visuals and a super sharp image.
All equipment was housed discreetly in a cabinet at the rear of the room, in which was installed AppleTV, Sky Q, Amazon Fire and a Playstation 5 with the Denon AVC X8500H receiver amplifier.
A Control4 system provided control over the cinema, lighting and the air conditioning making everything quick and simple to operate from one remote control.
Following completion our technicians fully calibrated the system to maximise the potential and deliver a truly powerful and enveloping surround sound experience.
