The completed cinema provides a Dolby Atmos 9.2.4 configuration surround sound system and true 4k projection giving stunning visuals and authenic cinema sound.
An AVR receiver and Playstation 5 were housed discreetly in a cabinet in the adjacent room, to which was fed an AppleTV and Sky Q from elsewhere in the home.
A Control4 system provided control over the cinema and lighting making everything quick and simple to operate from one remote control.
Following completion our technicians fully calibrated the system to maximise the potential and deliver a truly powerful and enveloping surround sound experience.
The brief
In a cosy town house our client wanted a contempory home cinema space with smart functionality as a space to relax and indulge in his favourite films in comfort with authentic movie sound and visuals.
To allow for discreet installation of speakers and LED lighting, we created a bespoke coffer design and starscape centrepiece for the cinema ceiling. The speakers too were installed behind the acousticallly transparent projection screen.
